Webinar on “Study & Work in Hong Kong”

Hong Kong has always been a welcoming city for businesses, and a series of schemes are implemented to facilitate people from all over the world with valuable skills, knowledge or experience to work, live or invest in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Tokyo) organised a webinar on 17 July 2020 on “Study and Work in Hong Kong and the various Admission Schemes”, targeting university students in Japan who are interested in studying or working in Hong Kong after graduation. During the webinar, Deputy Hong Kong Economic and Trade Representative (Tokyo) Andrew Fan gave a brief introduction on the Office and Hong Kong’s relationship with Japan. Stephen Lau, Assistant Principal Immigration Officer of the Hong Kong Immigration Department, introduced the various admission schemes of Hong Kong, including the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, the Technology Talent Admission Scheme, and the General Employment Policy.

During the webinar, Deputy Hong Kong Economic and Trade Representative (Tokyo) Andrew Fan gave a brief introduction on Hong Kong, followed by Immigration Department’s introduction of the admission schemes of Hong Kong.
